Remember when our Dear Little Friend (DLF) promised to help small business owners succeed, and that he would stop government over spending? I point you now to the USA Today newsrooms.

So I finally got my truck back to Pensacola and out of the horrible pollen of Tampa, and I washed it with my new OPT Rinse and Shine! It looks great and as promised I have uploaded pics!

So I finally got it! I have been looking at a 2010 F-150 XLT SuperCab for a while now and yesterday I finally took the plunge and purchased one, I will be posting pics as soon as I get back to Pensacola and my camera. Needless to say I am very excited. Hopefully I will be revampng car tales soon and I will be able to keep an update on my new truck!
I am considering getting a new 2010 F-150 XLT and I am trying to figure out how to keep her paint looking beautiful for a long, long time. There is a company called Optimum Car Care that specializes in all sorts of car cleaning products. From what I can tell from the line-up of options available to me, if you have a new car the 3 most important products to have are as follows:
Optimum No-Rinse Wash and Shine – This is a product that you use with two buckets of water, one to apply, and one to clean, and you don’t need a hose or bubbles, or pointless time spent doing all of that.
Optimum Opti Seal – This product creates a molecular level bond over the paint that keeps rainwater and acids from penetrating, and ths helping to keep the car looking better longer.
Optimum Car Wax – This product is a combination of Carnuba wax, and high grade polymer to create a nice long lasting finish. The problem with all Carnuba is that it only last 1-2 months, and the problem with polymers is that they don’t give that rich, deep look that Carnuba does. So this is the best mix of both worlds.
I am pretty happy with what I have found, and I am hoping to be able to order these products after I get my new car. Keep posted for more updates.
Later.
Anna says I never update, which is true; for the life of my blog I have been horrible at updating it, I try but in reality I can never think of what to write. who want to hear about the day of a casual LT? Well I will try, in clumps so that it is not all at once.
Pensacola NAS
I am stationed on a Navy base, or station, or whatever, awaiting CSO(Combat Systems Officer) training which doesn’t start until August. Until then I spend time with Anna and lounge around the house. All though I did just get a job in the unit, we call them stash jobs. (because this is where they stash us away) I am stashed at a place called Starbase Atlantis, it is a science oriented field trip for 5th graders in the Pensacola school system, they come onboard NAS Pensacola and learn about the basics of flight, and the science behind it which is pretty cool. Our house is pretty cool, we live in an old late 1800’s house that has been splite into 6 apartments, and we have a basement! Yea I love having a plave to put all my tools, and spread out and have some fun. I will update soon with more info, and how we got to where we are now. Laters.
